Northeast Church of Christ is comprised of a group of individuals striving together to worship God according to the instructions given to us through the New Testament of Jesus Christ. We look to Gods word for authorization of our practices with the intent to neither add to his instructions, nor to take from them. We help one another, lift one another up and edify one another as Christians striving toward the same goal. Each Lord's day, we partake of the Lord's supper together, in memory of his death, in fellowship with Christ, and thus, in fellowship with one anther. As Christians in the first century church sang praises with their lips to God (Col. 3:16 and Eph. 5:19), we too sing songs of praise and edification. Weekly bible study together is a part of our service because we believe: "all scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works" (II Tim. 3:16).
